Subject: Where to begin? By: Matthew F. Written on: 2006-05-14 17:58:44 Message: Hello everyone im new at this whole triathalon thing and i have a couple questions. First, i will be competing in a .5 mile swim, 10 mile biking, and 5K run triathalon in september. My whole life i have been a power lifter who played enough sports to maintain staying in good shape. I need to get back my cardio but that wont be a problem. What i need to know from you guys is what specific program i should be on. I weigh 220 pounds with an athletic build, i could lose 10 pounds but no more really. What weight do i need to be and what should i be eating to get my body ready for this event? I need to know what i should be doing to become a triathlete. Thank you so much! | |
