Message: Good Choice on the Endurox!! I ahve been on that for 4 years. The accelarde is Ok but I prefer something with a little more carbs in it. I have been using Cytomax since 1996 since I was on the All Marine track team. It has gotten me thru many Half Ironmans and Ironmans. It also has to lactic acid buffers in it that have longer lasting effects than any other drink I have tried.
My best advice is try a few drinks in different situations and see what works best. I would also recommend taking some salt tablets if you are doing any kind of longer events. There is no sports drink that offers enough sodium to full replenish your system.

Message: i've used products by Hammer Nutrition and found them to be extremely ehlpful. They have a wide range of products and their customer service is unbeatable. Products like HammerGel can be mixed into drinks for added benefits. The drinks Hammer HEED, Perpeteum and Sustained energy are great during training and Recoverite is an awesome post race/workout drink. They also have several tablets/caplets in the E-Cap line - Endurolytes, race caps, anti-fatique tablets. It's a product worth considering. Message: Good Point Steve!! I forgot about the gels! I always use hammer gel and Endurolytes. From 6 years of testing I found them to be the easiest on the stomach and most beneficial in the long run!
