Subject: Cycling part of Triathlon By: Connie W. Written on: 2006-05-07 11:19:47 Message: Why is there not a workout schedule for 60 mile and 30 mile bike rides. I am doing the biking part of the Kings Mountain Over the Moutain Triathlon and there is not a schedule I can use. I would like to see workouts for Centuries and Half Centuries.

One of the best cycling books ever written is "The complete book of Long Distant Cycling" by Ed Burke and Ed Pavelka. I got this book 4 years ago and to this day still refer to it when I need help on training, bike stuff, nutrition, whatever. Check it out. Oh ya, it has a plan for half centuries, centuries and going longer.... | |
