| Discussion: Bike shipping to and from IM France | |
Subject: Bike shipping to and from IM France By: David Tallo Written on: 2005-01-26 15:34:25 Message: Anyone know if there is there any enterprising individual / company out there who is offering a service to ship bikes to/from North America & IM France? I plan to travel after the race and can't see myself lugging a Trico case across Europe (at least not quickly). | |
Subject: Bike shipping to and from IM France By: Willy Waks Written on: 2005-01-27 15:31:31 Message: This does not answer your question directly, but you may want to know that taking your bike with you on the train in France is free. The SNCF (French Railroad) have rules as to where you can park it. You can also ship it for a fee with their freight subsidiary http://www.voyages-sncf.com/info_resa/passenger_guide/available_services/baggage/home.htm?LG=FR&Rubrique=Available+Services&Theme=Baggage
