Subject: treadmill running By: Caryl H. Written on: 2006-02-05 21:07:17 Message: Everytime I run on a treadmill my toes hurt and get blistered. If I run outside I have no problem whatsoever and can run for 10 miles. What's the deal with the treadmill? Can anyone suggest a sock or something that might help. I run in Mizuno Wave Rider 8's and love them. Recently did a half-marathon in them with no problem at all. They are only 6 weeks old and I've run in this model shoe for the past year changing them every 3 months or so with a weekly average of 20-25 miles.

I hope everything works out. If that doesn't work you may want to run with a slight incline on the treadmill. It will help you open your stride.
