Message: I know the difference between a normal road bike and a tri bike(geometry), but why would i want to be more over the pedals with the tri bike? What advantage will this give me?

Message: Supposedly there are a couple reasons. I'm no expert, but from what I've heard:
1) A forward seat will allow you to utilize your "running muscles" more than a regular road bike. This makes the transition from bike to run easier.
2) The steeper geometry allows more power to be transferred.
Again, I'm no expert, but these are some things I've heard.
