Subject: Do the nerves ever go away? By: Shelly R. Written on: 2006-06-24 14:43:44 Message: I have my first du tomorrow and am extrememely nervous, especially since I checked out the bike portion yesterday and it looks more like rolling mountains to me than hills. My goal is to finish and I am treating this race as a practice to my 'real' tri later on, but for some reason, I'm a total ball of nervous energy today. I feel like I haven't trained hard enough, long enough, etc.
