Subject: wetsuit question By: Rob D. Written on: 2006-06-24 00:42:25 Message: My last two races I wore my bike shorts and shirt under my wetsuit. well today I did a trial swim in Lake Coeur D Alene for IM. And boy my chest felt tight and kinda felt nervious and such and found swiming tough. I figured it was pre-race nerves. But after a while i thought hey lets dump the jersy and swim. Boy was there a difference. Well maybe i really don't have a question but just wondering if anyone has had this happen and or do you have a tri or bike jersey under your wetsuit. I guess you hot tri-ladies have some top on of course. I just found this wierd since I did one IM and a 1/2 IM swim with my bike jersy on. I plan to swim tomorrow so I will go again toppless and see how it goes. I hope I don't scare the children with my pale white chest. Kinda have a light blue tint to it. | |

Written on: 2006-06-24 15:38:07 Message: I've heard of some people having their suits feel different on different occasions I think it may be just a matter of pulling it on differntly than normal causing the material of the suit to tug on the body or shirt a little differently. You may need to experiment in the future.
