By: Mike Capuano Written on: 2005-04-10 11:36:11 Message: Hey John, I'm a newbie but I just read about iteamized accessories and how much time each thing would save you in a 40k time trial.I'm not positive but I think it was around 60-70 seconds.I just looked through all of my new mags and can't find that chart. But I just read it somewhere ? If I stumble across it again I'll drop you a line. Man,I gotta clean my office !

Subject: RE: DISC WHEELS ANYONE? By: Jamie Boward Written on: 2005-04-10 16:15:59 Message: A lot depends on the course and the wind!! If it is a course that is pancake flat with not cross winds then it will save a bunch of time like mike said. A lot will depend what you race with already. If you have a pair of Deep dish carbons like 404 then I really wouldn't put the money into a disk or if the course has a lot of climbing and or rolling hills. IF you want a real good option look into the Zipp 808 or the 606. The 808 is a 81mm deep dish rim and the 606 is a 808 rear with a 404 front more designed for courses with hills and cross winds.
