| Discussion: Xterra Tri -Where gloves? | |
Subject: Xterra Tri -Where gloves? By: Dave K. Written on: 2006-06-20 16:49:19 Message: I generally where gloves on trail rides for comfort. I don't on a road tri, but wondered if anyone has some thoughts on whether to take time to put these on in an Xterra race. I know there is no wrong or right, but just wanted some different views. Doing the Torn Shirt tri in MI this weekend. | |

Subject: RE: Xterra Tri -Where gloves? By: FRANK WILLIAM P. Written on: 2006-06-22 15:45:17 Message: I compete in the Xterra Races and I enjoy wearing gloves. What i do is duct tape them to the bike and put them on during a straight away or a flat part in the course. This past weekend at the Xterra East Championships did not even use duct tape and just slide them onto the handle. They were especially helpful when I took a nose dive over the bars onto a concrete slab. I have heard that torn shirt is a pretty nice race from some guys at nationals last year. let me know how it goes.
