Message: Hi, I'm relatively new to this site. I love to read everything you all have written. I would live some advice about the nutrition plan you all find works for you. I'm trying to not lose too much muscle mass but a little fat %. I am a midnight muncher sometimes because I have a hard time sleeping. Aside from that my diet is clean, but I just can't seem to find a good balance. Would any of you be willing to give me some samples of their diet???
Thanks
Keycho

Message: Keycho;

My diet is always evolving. I look back at a few years ago when I thought I was eating right, and I laugh. I have a feeling that in a few years, I'll look back at today and think the same thing.
During the week, I have 3/4 cup of whole grain cereal, milk and juice. I snack mid morning on 1/2 bagel and peanut butter. Lunch is usually 1/2 bagel with turkey/lean meats, yogurt and fruit. Dinner is fish/veggies/rice, pasta (measure out 1 cup! Usually people pile up their plates with 3-4 cups. Not required!), salad with chicken (dressing on the side), etc and always dessert! (either yogurt with dried fruit on top, a little sugar free ice cream, a little bit of chocolate won't kill you.) Before bed, I usually have a piece of toast and peanut butter and a glass of milk. I alway drink 1-2 litres of water daily. On weekends, when training is heavier, I usually have a giant pancake breakfast or omelet (Egg beaters, tomatoes, mushrooms, etc.) I am 6' 2" and 160 lbs with a pretty low body fat. Over the winter my weight might creep up to 163-164, but not much more than that, since as I get older, it gets harder to get back in racing shape... A general tip: Read labels, watch the fats and nobody needs a bacon/cheeseburger and large fry and coke more than once every 6 months... (But it sure is nice once in a while)

Brad
