Written on: 2006-06-13 17:32:38 Message: Fins can help learn body position and get a feel for hydrodynamics (easier to feel mistakes and inefficiency when you're going fast) but I see a lot of swimmers use them as a crutch at my masters group. I'd recommend making limited use of them in the off season, but the closer to race day you get the more I'd encourage you to go without.
