Message: Heya all....I'm a first timer here and I had a questions regarding clip-in cycling shoes. Should they have the same fit as the running shoes I wear, or should they fit tad more snug than that?

I'm sure I'll have a billion mor questions in the next several months, but I appreciate any advice you guys have.

Thanks

~Scuba Steve

Message: Steve I have no answer for you. I am new to this game also. I'm training for an xterra race and I'm currently using a plain metal pedal, a BMX type that has a large footprint. As my training progresses I,m sure I will convert to a clipless system. Mountain biking is quite different than street riding. Kind of like tying a rocket to your ass and lighting the fuse.

Message: i feel that cycling shoes can fit a little bit snug because your feet won't spread as much due to pressure as with running shoes.
