Subject: RE: RNR Half-- VA Beach By: William D. Written on: 2006-05-24 22:24:14 Message: I've been thinking of it . Running is my weak game especially large events. Too many bodies. I did the shamrock 8 k and posted a miserable 40min. Had to fight the crowd I started in the rear. | |

Written on: 2006-05-25 15:10:09 Message: yeah, last time i ran the rnr 1/2 i was shocked at how long it actually to get moving, because I am NOT in one of the first corrales. And then, for the first few miles you still feel as if you're in a sardine can. It's definitely a fun race, though. Unless... it's 80 degrees. But when I ran it 3 years ago the weather was overcast and not too hot. People were still falling out from dehydration and whatnot, so I cannot even imagine what it would be like on a hotter day.
