Message: Mike,
The April 2005 issue of Bicycling is the buyer's guide, there seems to be a good selection of bikes in different price ranges, also sometimes you get lucky on e-bay. Hope this helps.

Message: Hey man I just got a killer bike for my fiancee the other week from a used bike company. They buy quality bikes and inspect them with a 32 point inspection to make sure they are safe and usuable again. Here is the website
www.preownedbikes.com
They also have a store set up on ebay and you can email them and tell them what you are looking for and they can notify you when they locate something in your price range.
I am a bike mechanic for a Trek store and I was super pleased with the quality of the product I got in.
Just make sure you know what size you are and they have some good solid frames with 105 grouppo on them around 900-1000 dollars. Hope that helps and good luck!!
